Well... so much for trying to stay current!! It is already July 29th and I will have to say that I am a bit shocked at how quickly time is passing!
Houston and I have had a relaxing summer so far. He was able to go to Dallas with his dad and enjoy all kinds of fun activities. He and I have had quite a bit of together time... We have entertained ourselves with trips to the library, movies, pool, and those ever so popular game joints (Lokomotion....)! We also joined a friend and her family on a trip to Devil's Den for a picnic, hike, and dip in the pool! It has been nice not needing to go to workshops or classes. I finally decided that it is not necessary to cram the summer full of more school "stuff".
I guess that is all for now...

Hello!

This is the first time I have ever created a blog. I guess we will see how it goes!

Houston and I are looking forward to the summer and lots of fun activities. Houston has decided that he does not want to play ball this summer, but instead he wants to wait until the fall and play soccer. We should probably start practicing since he hasn't played since he was 3 and even then he spent most of his time flirting with the girls on the other team... :-)

I will do my best to keep this current!
